|Aerodynamic design plays a vital role in the preliminary design in the development of commercial aircraft. It influences the finalisation of external aerodynamic shape. Computational aerodynamics is a numerical method which uses panel methods to solve linear flow models for complex geometry and provides solutions to aerodynamic problems. |
Problems specific to the aircraft industry can be solved through the use of CATIA for geometric modelling and ICEMCFD & FLUENT for CFD analysis.
This course empowers students to carry out CFD analysis related to aircraft aerodynamic problems.
