Finite Element Analysis
On this page
Overview
The design and development of engineering products is typically an interactive process and involves large costs for testing and prototyping. Industry designers and developers have begun to use numerical methods to minimise these costs. |
Objective
- Describe finite element methodology for different classes of engineering problems.
- Create finite element models and solve different engineering problems.
- Use Hyper mesh and ANSYS software for modelling, solving and post processing with proficiency.
- Analyse industry specific problems for imposing appropriate element types and boundary conditions to arrive at converged FE results.

Classes
Monday — Friday
Batch Schedule
Batch 1 — January to March
Batch 2 — June to August
Batch 3 — September to November
Who Should Attend?
Several industry-specific problems are solved using finite element modelling and analysis, especially by using CATIA for geometric modelling, and Hypermesh & Ansys for finite element modelling and analysis.
